Keep it Casual

Club Business

11 modelers attended our meeting! We kept things casual this meeting as some club activities are being worked on and there is nothing new to report. That being said, Rex attended a car show at the Ford Garage with his ’71 Mach 1 Mustang and won an award, congratulations Rex! He also noticed that the Ford Garage Car Show might be a nice venue for our models….

Show and Tell

Marco’s ’76 Caprice

This work in progress will have a custom, 3D printed chassis, as the one included in the kit was bashed by several members in attendance.

One of Richie’s “Jewels”

A work in progress for one of his clients, the paint on this model is shined to the point of looking like a jewel. Very nice work.

Richie’s ’72 Chevelle

With custom aluminum wheels and another brilliant finish, I’m sure Richie’s client is going to love it.

Richie’s ’53 Chevy Bel Air

The kit is a hardtop. However, Richie removed it and kept the body looking like it is supposed to be a convertible.

Donnie’s Coca-Cola Truck

Done in two days! This truck was painted in two tone red and white, features numerous under the hood details and is waiting for the trailer. The trailer may take 20 days as it is difficult to assemble, go figure.

Kervin’s ’58 Chevy

With beautiful Tangerine Createx paint and numerous aftermarket add-ons, this WIP is so close to being done. We hope to see the finished product soon!

Rex’s ‘007’ Mustang

WIP, with Testors Lacquer Red and lot’s of upgrades from VCG Resin. Rex plans to convert this to an Automatic, C6 transmission. Just like the movie car.

A Beautiful Dino

Marco was the recipient of this outstanding Dino kit.

Custom Wheels

For one of Richie’s projects, these wheels are 3 piece, aluminum and plated.
