Club Business

10 scale modelers were in attendance and the hot topic was Flight 19’s IPMS Modelfest 2025. Meir from Flight 19 was kind enough to attend and filled us in on the some of the back stage happenings while he answered questions the MCC crew had. Best of Show and Medals were presented by the proud winners all around. For the Scale Modeler, the Flight 19 show was a very nice event.

Show and Tell – IMAGES OPEN IN NEW TAB

Aside from medals and Best Of Show Trophies, club members brought in their WIPs and some completed builds:

Ed Cole, a new attendee whom we met at Model Fest showed his WIP ’57 Chrysler 300C in a wonderfully done Aston Martin Apple Green. The paint is Splash Paints 2K Clear in a 3 to 1 ratio. One to watch.

Donnie had his newly finished Nascar Truck with ribbon seat belts, hand lettered tires and an airbrushed fade under all those decals. Nice work on a busy truck.

Meir brought in his Apocalypse 1/64 Land Rover detailed with fine, to scale wire mesh windows, 3D printed dozer blade and other “options”. Wonderfully weathered.

Joe showed his Jack Daniels Car that medaled at the Flight 19 show. It features oak casket fuel tanks, jack Daniels livery and an amazing attention to detail.

Finally Robert showed his Medal winning models: A Vette Van Vignette with a strong Mad Max vibe, Silver and Blue Ford Bronco with customized interior and Le Mans Corvette with custom Gold and Green paint.

We meet the second and fourth Tuesday at Char-Hut 9000 State Road 84 Davie, Fla. 33324 954 – 474 – 9312

It is imperative that we support Char-Hut by purchasing some food while we are there having our meeting, we will be welcome there if we do this.
