Club Business
Our December 10th meeting had eight attendees. Ed was presented with a trophy for his truck build, he won both popular & electoral vote, a first in club history… Hope everyone is building their Vettes for the next group build, due date is fast approaching (March 25). We discussed a future online contest with a winner chosen by popular vote. Officers in the club remain the same. Danny gifted our club the charter fee with IPMS, a BIG Thank You to Danny who is leaving us in a move to be closer to family in Spring Hill, Fla. Good luck Danny, we will miss you and Kathy too.
Robert made a beautiful video of club highlights for 2024, if you missed it check it out here, great job and effort to put out, thank you Robert.
With many club members moving to other areas of the country & state, perhaps it’s time to think about having a virtual meeting once in a while to keep in contact with far away members? 2025 is here, let’s all enjoy the hobby, our meetings and builds, it will be a good year for the club.
Show and Tell – IMAGES OPEN IN NEW TAB
Andy Shapiro made the long trek from S. Miami to show off his impressive UMI Modelwerk Ferrari Barchetta, the 1948 LeMans winner. It’s a multimedia kit, Andy’s exquisite detailing made the model stand out. It’s going to the IPMS Nationals later in the year. Andy also showed off a WIP, Collin Chapmans 2nd Lotus, should be outstanding when completed!
Brad brought a candy green Camaro body & a 2nd gen black Camaro body, both WIPS’s along with his latest acquisition, a new Revell C8 Corvette. It is loaded with parts & a magazine like instruction booklet. It will be interesting to see how Brad builds it.

It is imperative that we support Char-Hut by purchasing some food while we are there having our meeting, we will be welcome there if we do this.
