Club Business
Nine of us were at the Feb 24th meeting discussing Kervin’s idea to go to a show as a group, details and what show are forthcoming. Ed Cole was the big winner of the last club group build, Caprice / Impala. There was a three way tie with Ed the lucky winner. Congratulations Ed and to all the participants, nice group of models. On to the next build!
Show and Tell – IMAGES OPEN IN NEW TAB
Brad brought in his tribute WIP, a resin ’70 El Camino, he did a lot of work to get it to it’s current state, blue, silver and black are the future colors. His next group build is a gold Monte Carlo WIP with an opened trunk and detailed door handles.
Kervin painted another ’55 Revell Chevy Body in a more appropriate color shade of blue, it featured photo etched emblems and his excellent weathered engine which Kervin says is the highlight of the build.
Tommy is working on three kits simultaneously (Brad fever?) He showed off three engines: A Mopar 340 six pack, a ’64 CHevy 327 for his lo rider and a 2022 Corvette powerplant, all nicely detailed.
Ed Cole displayed his first completion of ’26, a beautiful Moebius ’68 Mercury pick-up, featuring a black cherry over black paint and a 3d printed engine. A very clean build, it will probably clean up in any contest it is entered in, wonderful job Ed.
Robert showed the excellent workmanship and engineering on his Cosmic Charger FED, opening and modifying panels on the car, using magnets to secure them in place and making the underside appear to be fiberglass, it will be stunning upon complete.

It is imperative that we support Char-Hut by purchasing some food while we are there having our meeting, we will be welcome there if we do this.
