7 members attended the May 13th meeting with one traveling all the way from North Florida! Members discussed the progress (or lack thereof) on their Group Builds for the Legends of the Quarter Mile. It is Due SEPTEMBER 23RD, 2025.
Show and Tell – IMAGES OPEN IN NEW TAB
Brad was in a robot mood and showed several Gundam and Armored Core Mech kits. He explained the differences between the grades of Gundam kits as well.
Kervin brought in a ’78 Cadilliac his is doing battle with because of the 2k clear coat. The WIP has a beautiful basecoat and “top notch” wheels.
Danny, our North Florida visitor, showed his finished 1/25 BMW with lots of hand made details like: Carved grill, custom exhaust and scratch built interior panels. He also showed off his newly completed Russian WWII bomber. This is a big kit that took some time to finish. It features numerous glass pieces that had to masked by hand for his awesome camouflage paint to work!
Robert brought in an AMT Christine Movie car he is working on. He plans to do it just like the car in the movie. Replacing the engine that comes in the kit is the first step!

It is imperative that we support Char-Hut by purchasing some food while we are there having our meeting, we will be welcome there if we do this.
