Club Business

Again, we had seven present for our May 14th meeting. The club had a good showing at the awards in Melbourne. Rex four, Robert three and Danny with two, Congratulations!

Rex had a health scare at the Hot Wheels show from dehydration, glad he is o.k. Are you sure you want to relocate to Arizona? The club voted to have Trucks as the new club build, any way you want to build a truck…
….Keep on truckin’.

Show and Tell

Rex’s Gunze Cobra Daytona Coupe

Rex started Show ‘n Tell with some rare and seldom seen work, a Gunze Cobra Daytona blue coupe built in the ‘90’s.

Rex’s Ford GT Roadster

Rex bought and assembled this one from one by Creative Miniatures Associates years ago.

Rex’s Other Ford GT Roadster

By Mini Exotics, recently purchased for $30 online. Such a deal! Both need a Fujimi chassis to complete. Nice to see these kits.

Marco’s 1/12 Model Factory Hiro Cobra Daytona Coupe

Marco brought in a 1/12 Model factory Hero Cobra Daytona Coupe with all the parts to make it into a spectacular miniature. Marco is making it for a client, Impressive model.

Instructions from the Model Factory Hiro Kit

Yes, those a bolts you have to put into the water pump, just like a real car!

White Metal Parts

Marco has all the metal parts with this kit organized so he can work on them in an efficient manner.

Highly Detailed Metal

Model Factory Hiro is no joke, this is a very high-end kit that pulls all the stops. Expect to pay good money for one of these.

Robert’s Supra Celica

Robert showed off a little gem, an Entex Jambo Lambo, it rhymes, a quick build that looks nice on the table, featuring a polished natural plastic finish!

Brad’s “Broken Wing”

Brad took two dioramas out of deep storage, last seen at our last show in Orlando, a ‘34 Ford donated to Brad by Ken Willaman and a T-bird both abandoned to the weeds that Brad is so adept at doing. Both very creatively done.

Brad’s “Tree Trunk

Brad took two dioramas out of deep storage, last seen at our last show in Orlando, a ‘34 Ford donated to Brad by Ken Willaman and a T-bird both abandoned to the weeds that Brad is so adept at doing. Both very creatively done.

Brad’s “Broken Wing”

Brad used heat and a “tool” to add the dent in the door.

Brad’s “Tree Trunk”

You have to appreciate all the techniques required to get a texture on the body like that. Well done!

Brad’s Hidden Turtle

A diamond in the rough?
