Club Business
Nine people were in attendance to hear Ed prattle on and run the meeting in Robert’s absence. We had a brief discussion on new kits coming out. Also had some thoughts on Kervin’s idea to attend a model car show as a group representing our club, Kervin is going to give it some more thought and see what we come up with.
Show and Tell – CAMERA MAN HAD THE DAY OFF!
Donnie started off the evening’s show ‘n tell with a nice AMT ‘64 Olds convertible, nicely done with BMF detail, Donnie expressed a wish that the white paint could have had more gloss but the consensus of the group was that the car looked real just as it is. Nice job.
Tommy had his first 2026 build on the table, a ‘89 Lexus OTB build, excellent looking model.
Joe brought an AMT Charger that he converted to a two door (wonder if there is a virus going around) nice in Tamiya paint, also showing a 3D printed ‘69 Charger with an aero kit WIP.
Ed Cole displayed a Revell ‘69 GTO He got as a build up for Christmas. He is restoring it for the current Group Build.
Brad brought a group, first a Slingster Monogram FED tiny but nice, a ‘70 Camaro body in metallic green WIP, the infamous blue to silver fingernail polish painted‘70 Chevelle, fingernail polish as paint can be delicate and possible not permanent, the best for last : a’80 Monte Carlo Lo Rider in Purple with gold highlights, simply stunning. Brad knocked it out of the park with this one. So many nice features in this build.

It is imperative that we support Char-Hut by purchasing some food while we are there having our meeting, we will be welcome there if we do this.
