Club Business
Nine people attended our March 10th meeting. Alan Rainey and Marco were in attendance, it was good to see them. Going to a show as a group is continued to be discussed with the May 2nd show at Melbourne a possibility. Robert is proposing a card with a QR code on it containing information on the particular build for judging. Micro Macro Mundo has a new owner and has moved near the Opa- Locka Airport. Ed finally finished his Caprice two and half months late but it did cross the finish line. Ed converted the kit to a two door with all that entails, it has scratch build hood scoop and spoiler with skirts. Finished in a metallic pearl Red bas coat clear system. It’s a Pro Touring Donk built as a tribute to something that Richie would do.
Donnie had a ’77 silver blue Pinto and his Christmas group Build, a ’70 Coronet finished in purple. Donnie had issues with the pain, several people offered solutions.
Tommy had his ’64 Chevy WIP chassis on display finished in Tropical Glitz Purple over silver base, it will be a head turner when done.
Marco had a couple of Alpha resin Ferrari kits on display, both WIPs that he is improving with his 3D printed accessories. He also had a 3D printed jetSki WIP on display.
Alan showed his ’37 Ford coup converted to a 3 window in Testors Green featuring loads of scratch building, carpeted trunk & hinged hood among many features. His Testors Vantastic conversion to sedan involved many modifications to appear correct including making a trunk of the rear door with a proposed working latch, nice job as always Alan.

It is imperative that we support Char-Hut by purchasing some food while we are there having our meeting, we will be welcome there if we do this.
