Club Business
7 and a half members attended our March 24th meeting. A trip to Micro Macro Mundo was discussed between Tommy and Robert for this Saturday. Anyone interested in tagging along please let Robert know. Dwight made a rare appearance but came bearing gifts of stainless steel and copper! His bundle of machine fragments will find use in many of our future creations so thank you! Group members discussed FusionFirm Liquid Foil, Quick Shine Floor wax and the multitude of up coming model shows. Finally, Ed C, showed his medal winning cars from Pelicon.

After many set backs and a ton of patience, Robert showed off his finished Carl Casper Cosmic Charger. Complete with lift off top, “fiberglass” body panels, engine detailing and a Quick Shine paint finish, the Cosmic Charger has a lot to look at.
Brad is continuing the work on his Monte Carlo and real life El Camino tribute that has a tri-tone paint job and a new set of rally stripes on the hood. Excellent progress.
Kervin is pushing a well detailed Revell model of a Shelby Cobra with his high level of detail. The body will be painted in a similar purple as the spoon featured above. We all with him a smooth and shiny paint job!
Ed C. and his daughter arrived to show off 3! medal winning models from Pelicon ’26. Ed’s beautiful and detailed work has certainly paid off! Way to represent the hobby and the club.
Dwight shared is 1/8 scale Ferrari motor that was 3D Printed then hand painted with Oil paints and brushes. Done for a friend, it captures the essence of the real life engine with exhaustive attention to detail.
