Club Business
Our April 14th meeting had ten attendees, one of which was Thomas Braun who was visiting S. Florida from Germany. Thomas was at our November 8th, 2022 meeting when we met at Flippers Theater in Hollywood. Thomas is an accomplished, award winning builder of automotive & military subjects. His work, which he showed on an iPad, is impressive. Hopefully we see Thomas again and thank him for taking time out of his trip to participate in our club meeting.
The club had a field trip to the new location in Miami Lakes of Micro Macro Mundo. Marco, Robert, Tommy, Donny, Brad & Ed made the trip and supported a local hobby shop. You can support them as well, they have a nice website @ www.micromacromundo.com.

Joe had a Chevy Luv Pick Up race truck on a diorama base which was nicely done.
Tommy brought in his WIP Duster which was painted in a vivid green, also on hand was the chassis. It will be nice upon completion.
Kervin’s Revell Cobra, WIP, is causing him heartache, the chassis & engine came together nicely but that body! Multiple baths in the stripper, it’s painted and ready for clear, what to do? A distinct possibility is Floor Polish, stay tuned to see what happens.
Robert has an ambitious MPC El Camino paint job involving multiple masks, Revell Chrome and Candy Colors. Can’t wait to see this one.
Brad had the top half of his Unlimited Hydro (racing boat) WIP in bright red Tamiya Paint waiting on a final coat of clear. Also shown was the resin El Camino tribute build that is progressing.
Thomas showed of some 3D printed purchases of engines, parts and wheels.
Donny displayed his successful 2K Clear paint on his beautifully done Duster and Ford Thunderbird NASCAR build. Also on the table is his Christmas build of the purple “unhappy” Dodge Coronet that had soft plastic.
We meet the second and fourth Tuesday at Char-Hut 9000 State Road 84 Davie, Fla. 33324 954 – 474 – 9312
It is imperative that we support Char-Hut by purchasing some food while we are there having our meeting, we will be welcome there if we do this.
