Club Business
Our June 9th meeting had eight of us in attendance. The next build for the club will be a 250th year of America’s founding theme, any domestic vehicle. Must have “250” displayed on it. Due date has been tentatively set for the last meeting in October……..this year ! A field trip to Model Expo in the North Miami Beach / Golden Glades area is being planned, a slight snag is that they aren’t open on Saturday only Monday to Thursday 8 to 5 p.m. Eric brought in some railroad modeling magazines for any interested modelers. We discussed possible government surveillance of 3D printing software & printers, gotta watch those revolutionary model guys & gals. & their 3D printers. On a sad note, Kervin’s Mother passed, the clubs thoughts & prayers are with you.

Ed showed off another older build, a Sunbeam “Tiger”, a Bluprinter reissue from the “90’s”, mostly box stock featuring Ed’s first attempt at a scratch built up top, red base coat clear coat paint.
Brad brought in a kit of a Honda XLR Baja MD 22 that will be completed much like the box art.
Marco displayed a Fujimi Ferrari in Gravity 2K paint with aftermarket parts WIP. He also had a pair of very accurate 3D printed 1952 F-1 Ferrari frames for a future build.
Ed Cole is working on his Christmas Build, a salvaged ‘68 GTO in candy teal. Another WIP on the table was his ‘68 Roadrunner in Cherry Lollipop Tropical Glitz paint.
Robert brought in his purchase from the club’s field trip to Micro Macro Mundo, a Tamiya Mythos Prototype WIP. Plans call for red & black paint & a change of the stock marquee.

It is imperative that we support Char-Hut by purchasing some food while we are there having our meeting, we will be welcome there if we do this.
