Club Business
The May 26th meeting had seven members present. Eric brought friend jack Daley, originally from Beantown, he related some interesting tales to us. Robert will be making the trek to Tampa to attend and participate in the Southlands show. Attendance at that show can be a life altering event. A possible July field trip for the club to Model Expo in N. Miami Beach is in the tentative planning stages.
Show and Tell – IMAGES OPEN IN NEW TAB
Ed started out Show ‘N Tell by dragging out a build he did in the ’90’s, a Testors Chezoom, the curbside version, he did it as a paint experiment in metallic rose with green scallops along with a corresponding watermelon like base. What other ancient builds can he bring? I am excited to see them!
Brad had a WIP black second gen Camaro he is working to complete.
Robert displayed the El Camino from Paint Hell, relating the problems and compromises made to present a very nice model with hand painted red pinstriping. The model has many well thought out features along with the realistic engine bay. Check out the construction on Robert’s You Tube video (Search: Models By Hand) on YouTube. Excellent effort on finishing the model.
Joe C. put a nice Revell 1/12 scale chopper featuring a very wide R/C rear tire and sparkly red paint, a Vamperella figure accompanied it, nice job Joe.
Kervin snuck in at the last minute to show us his finished Revell 427 Cobra. It featured a Createx flip flop blue & purple pearl with Mr. Hobby clear top coat. Box stock build with the exception of the wheels & brakes which were 3D Printed. This is a fine build, Rex would be proud.

It is imperative that we support Char-Hut by purchasing some food while we are there having our meeting, we will be welcome there if we do this.
