Club Business
Ten of us were in attendance at the May 12th meeting. Robert got us started with the information that this year’s PamsCon in Plant City is offering club display tables. A few club members will be traveling to Tampa for the upcoming Southlands show. A future club field trip was brought up to go to Model Expo in N. Miami Beach. Stay tuned for future developments. Three members brought their Christmas gift group build.
Show and Tell – IMAGES OPEN IN NEW TAB
Joel C. brought a Lego Porsche, it looked good consisting only of Legos. He had a couple of Lego people to drive it.
Ed showed off two kits he purchased from the Mega Hobby closing sale. The AMT ‘69 Gas Rhonda stretched Mustang funny car and the AMT Stinger, a rebodied Parahana funny car.
Joe C. showed off two nicely done cars. A big fin ‘62 Caddy in red with Duplicolor clear to finish it off. Second up was a 3D printed Dodge Charger with aero panels which made it striking.
Ed Cole completed a Revell multi piece body ‘58 Caddy Eldorado in root beer with tan top, featuring Ice Man wheels. A beautiful model that shows off Ed’s exceptional modeling skills.
Tommy had his Mopar Duster Christmas build in bright green on display. He said the kit went together with out any issues. Nicely done Tommy !
Brad’s Lo Rider Monte Carlo was finished in finger nail polish, featured many nice details typical of lo riders. Brad took the time to open the trunk of the Christmas build. Nicely done !
Robert brought in the MPC Cosmic Charger that he received at the Club Christmas Breakfast, little did Robert know the journey he would go on to complete this stunning model. He over came seemingly endless obstacles to complete it. The car features many improvements. It’s a testament to Robert’s evolving modeling skills. Watch his YouTube tutorial to appreciate the model. Nice job Robert.
